Weekly residential garbage collection is performed on Monday through Friday.
You should have your garbage container at the curb by 6:00 am on the day it's to be picked up. Please set it at the curb and at least 4 feet away from any other object.

EXTRA GARBAGE, LAWN REFUSE & OVERSIZED ITEMS
Extra garbage and/or lawn refuse (up to 10 extra bags per week) and special pickups of oversized items that will not fit in the container will all gladly be taken for a small additional fee. Just call our Payette waste management company office the day before your regular Hardin trash and recycling service to schedule the extras and/or special pickup to be taken.
Extras and special pickups will be left unless we receive a phone call granting permission to take them. Please call for scheduling. NOTE: there may be an additional charge for extra garbage that does not fit in the container.

RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING FOR CANYON COUNTY
Hardin Sanitation currently provides residential recycling in Canyon County, ID.
Residential trash and recycling customers in Canyon County should set recycling carts out curbside by 6:00 am on their regular pickup day. Please ensure both your trash and recycling carts are at least 4 feet away from any other object or potential obstruction for our trucks.

SINGLE SORTED RECYCLING
Recycling isn't just smart; with Hardin Sanitation it's easy too.
Hardin Sanitation now accepts single sorted recycling. This change allows you to place all bagged trash in your garbage cart, and all recycling items together in another receptacle. All you do is sort the recyclables from the trash and place them out for collection on your scheduled Canyon County trash & recycling day.
